Softness	Traditional, familiar feel. However, cotton fibers have microscopic rougher edges that may make it feel firmer, especially after many washes.	Very soft. Bamboo fibers are smooth and round, often described as silky or “cashmere‑/silk‑like.” Feels gentle on skin and comfortable for everyday wear.
Odour / Hygiene / Antibacterial Potential	Cotton does not inherently resist bacteria or odour; odour control depends on washing and hygiene.	Bamboo fabric, especially bamboo viscose/lyocell have antibacterial or antimicrobial properties (from compounds originally in bamboo) that help reduce bacteria and odour, improving freshness over the course of the day.
Environmental / Sustainability Considerations	Cotton is a natural, biodegradable fibre, but conventional cotton farming is resource-intensive: high water use, often requires large amounts of pesticides or fertilisers.	Bamboo is also a natural, biodegradeable fiber. Additionally, it grows quickly, often with minimal water and no or little pesticides/fertilizers. This makes bamboo a more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Frequently asked questions

Trunks are a shorter, square‑cut style with a snug fit and shorter leg length. Boxer briefs are longer, extending further down the thigh for more coverage and support. Trunks feel less bulky and are better for tighter pants, while boxer briefs offer extra thigh support.

Replace trunk underwear every 6–12 months, or sooner if fabric loses elasticity, becomes worn, or develops holes or odor.
